Today is my 54th birthday and excited to be alive. I had the opportunity to go to Time Out For Women at the Phoenix Convention Center and be spiritually uplifted. This is the second time I was given the opportunity to attend. I remember how much I enjoyed it 8 years ago and to be given this wonderful experience on my birthday. It's something I really needed to bring me peace and insight to what I need to become.
The team is to find the women I need to become, to focus on one thing to focus on in my life. I laughed along with Mary Ellen Edmund, Chris Belcher and Hillary Weeks. The spirit was so strong that I felt more in touch with the Savior and to keep "what's his no face" at bay. I learned to focus on the positive things in my life and not the negatives. To know to recognize the simplest things are just as important as the big things.
I'm hoping to be able to attend next year to be uplifted and share this experience with good friends. Later in the evening Doug and I met with Doug and Janet Hansen at Joe's BBQ in Gilbert. I enjoyed great food, great company and I had a great birthday. Life is good and I want to embrace it all.
