Tonight we had the pleasure of feeding not 2 but 3 missionaries along with my dear friend Robin and her friend. Doug and I always enjoy having the missionaries over for dinner, they bring a special spirit into our home.
Well after dinner we had a FUN dessert...no not cake, not pie or ice cream. We had Velata ~ chocolate fun fondue! There were two kinds of chocolate: Milk Chocolate and Caramel Milk Chocolate. I can say this, they were not shy one bit...and did they dip and dip and dip into the chocolate. It was the BEST to see these young men enjoying themselves. And to top it off they could not stop talking about it. One Elder said, "I'm going to write about his in my journal tonight." The other Elders agreed and will do the same. The youngest Elder (waiting for his Visa to Argentina) was already contemplating having Velata at his homecoming and he has 20 months left on his mission!
This evening was a treat and a delight...and I can't wait to share this Velata fun fondue experience with others.
